HOME RUN SOUL CLUB WEEKENDER 2025!
It's been a month since the inaugural Home Run Soul Weekender, and we're still buzzing from what turned out to be an incredible weekend. What makes it even more special is that it was a true coming together of likeminded souls, people who took a leap of faith to invest their time and energy into something brand new and create an unforgettable weekend.
Thank you to everyone that attended!
Any event is only as good as the community it feeds, so a massive thank you to everyone who came along and helped build something new and exciting!
The energy from Friday night through to Sunday evening was something else. Whether you were there for a single night or the full weekend, you contributed to an atmosphere that felt less like a club night and more like a gathering of old friends - even if many of us were meeting for the first time.
A special shoutout goes to all those new faces and friends who made a full weekend of it - from the Scottish couple who traveled down, to the London crew and everyone who stayed with us till the very end. You know who you are, and we couldn't have done it without you!
The Soundtrack of the Weekend
A huge thanks to the DJs who hit all the right spots across the soul spectrum, from 60s floor fillers to modern steppers and everything in between.
We were blessed to have:
Local legends Alan Darker and Dave Ripolles who know exactly how to work a floor
Sam BlackBee bringing those deep, soulful vibes
The Sunday takeover by the Can You Dig It crew who brought the perfect energy to close things out
Punky, Jules, Natalie briging the vibes and keeping the momentum flowing
The Heart of Soul lads bringing the heat and Franc delivering exactly what was needed
And a special thanks goes to Liverpool's head honcho, Liam Flanders... he's a bloody good egg who brought that Scouse soul magic and reminded us all why the North West is best!
The beauty of the weekend was in the musical journey. We moved seamlessly from classic Motown stompers to rare groove gems, from Northern soul classics to contemporary soul that proved this music is alive and evolving. There were moments when the entire floor moved as one, and other times when you could see individuals lost in their own groove, completely absorbed in the music. That's the magic of soul - it speaks to something universal while remaining deeply personal.
Looking Ahead
We're already planning #2, so keep an eye on our next post. In the meantime, we'd love to hear from you! Share any comments and feedback below, along with any photos from the weekend.
Our aim is for this site to become an archive of each event - flyers, playlists, pictures and stories all in one place!

What a weekend! Top notch music from start to close without a wasted record! I met so many great people for the first time. Saturday day on the roof terrace was special. Great work Gary and Johnny. Roll on '26!
