How long have you been collecting?
I started collecting early in the 60’s. Music was always a big thing in our house thanks to my dad.
Do you remember your first buy?
I can’t for the life of me remember the first record that I bought, possibly Them – Baby Please Don’t Go
What’s your favourite record in your box?
A hard one this as so many, but i’ll go for Benny Harper – My Prayer on Harper-Soul, what a voice!
Which record do you regret selling the most?
This might sound strange but no regrets selling anything. The records that are with me now all have a personal meaning or memory for me.
What’s your fave all time soul club?
So many wonderful clubs in the past that I went to, all run by great people. If I had to choose one though it would be The Burnley all-nighter.
What’s your all time want?
Honestly, I really have no all time want. I’m always happy with what I had and those that I still have.
