Home Run Soul Club is Manchester’s flagship soul club and is housed beneath the Grade II listed building of the Refuge Bar / Kimpton Clocktower Hotel on Oxford Street, in a basement club with a dance floor fitting for soul nights.
As well as our residents Jonny, Liam, Gary and Andy spinning across the board northern soul / crossover / modern soul music on original vinyl only, we’ll bringing together the UK’s finest and Europe’s best DJ’s in an offering that will keep the basement venue dancing from 8pm through till 2am.

How do you follow a such an amazing night like the opening one with Alex Johnson and Michael Taylor? by bringing in two of the most respected collectors on the soul scene, that’s how!
Chris Anderton and Tony Jackson are two people we really wanted to get on this year, so to have them both on the same night is something special. Dab of Soul and The Greatstones Soul Club were two very influential nights for us all and Chris and Tony will be bringing the sweet soul sounds of both of them legendary nights to the Refuge basement.
